BLYTHEWOOD — Funeral services for Wallace Sims Stevens, 70, wilt be held at 3 p.m. Tuesay in Sandy Level Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. John Dowling and the Rev. John Griffith. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Stevens was killed Sunday when struck by an automobile while crossing Highway 21. A native of Union County, he was a son of the late Charner and Sallie McDaniel Stevens. He was a member of Sandy Level Baptist Church and a retired carpenter.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Albert E. (Mildred) Thigpen and Mrs. Cecil D. (Sara Lois) Riley both of Columbia; a son, Dan H. Stevens of Blythewood; four sisters, Mrs. Earl Boney of Blythewood, Mrs. D. K. Pratt of Columbia, Mrs. Talley D. Raines of Blythewood and Mrs. Harold Hawkins of Santee; a brother, Joseph Stevens of Brewster, N. Y.; and nine grandchildren and a great grandchild.
