Born in Union County, she was a daughter of the late Charner and Sally McDaniel Stevens. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church, where she had been a member of the choir and a Sunday school teacher. She also was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was first married to the late J.E. DuBose and second to the late D.K. Pratt.
Surviving are sisters, Mrs. Earl (Elizabeth) Boney and Mrs. Tallie (Helen) Raines of Blythewood and Mrs. Harold (Annie Meador) Hawkins of Santee; and nieces and nephews.
