She was born June 10, 1920, at Bison to Edwin and Tina Louise Johnson Anderson. She attended schools in Bison, graduating in 1938. She married Clarence Krause June 11, 1939, at Bison. They operated the Bison Implement for many years, and after the death of her husband in 1970, she continued to operate the business until 1982. She was a member of the Bison American Lutheran Church, the American Lutheran Church Women and a member of the Senior Citizens of Bison.
Survivors include one son; two daughters; and seven grandchildren.
