Donald William Kelley, 77, passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2009 in his residence.

He was born in Cameron, LA and lived there all his life. He worked as a Boat captain and owned and operated Don's Auto Mechanic Shop. He served in Korea as a Ranger with the 82nd Air Borne. He was a Christian. He was president and founder of Shoot the Bull Skeet and Social club.

Survivors include his wife, Margie Kelley of Cameron; sons, Barry Kelley and wife Gwen of Sulphur, Jerry Kelley and wife Shannon of Beaufort, N.C., Chad Kelley and wife Sabrina of Carencro; daughters, Peggy Kelley Styron of Lake Charles, Brandy Kelley of Lake Charles; brother, George W. Kelley of Lacassine; sister, Elsie Kelley Roberts of Cameron; grandchildren, Beau Styron, Luke Styron, Chance Styron, Magen Kelley Roberts, Heath Kelley, Christopher Sadowski, Jillian Kelley, Bryana Kelley, Keegan Kelley and 1 great grandchild, Tyler Cook; people close to his heart, his special nephews, Robin Roberts and Jimmy Kelley; special friends of the club, Peter, Charles Wayne, Charlie O., Brennen, Orson, Jason and Marlin.

Memorial Service will be 11 a.m. Monday, August 10, 2009 at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Barry Kelley will officiate. Gathering of friends will be 2-9 p.m. Sunday and Monday 8 a.m. til service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to any church in Cameron Parish.
