The funeral was held at his home Tuesday, being conducted by Rev. C.M. Dow, of Houghton, N.Y., an Evangelist of the Wesleyan Methodist Church of which Mr. Blood was a member and worker. Burial was made in Steamburg Cemetery. During his lifetime Mr. Blood had held many offices within the gift of the people of his township. Mr. Blood was a loyal friend, an upright citizen; in his home he was kind and affectionate, and his memory will long be cherished by all who knew him."
