As remembered by family Susan Ann was a devout Catholic. She was known to smoke a corn-cob pipe at times. Some years before her death she divided the farm, where she and William T Dant had lived and raised their family at Elba, KY among her four sons, Barney, Aloysius, Ernest and Ambrose.
During WWII Susan Ann was living with her son Barney. She never returned to Elba, she died at the home of her son Barney Dant, in Owensboro, KY.

1900 U.S. Federal Census - Susan Ann had 7 children born and 5 were living.
1910 U.S. Federal Census - Susan Ann had 11 children born and 5 were living.
1918 son Taylor Sylvester "Bunt" Dant died in WWI.
Personal note: I have not been able to find records for 2 of the children of William Taylor and Susan Ann Dant.
