Survivors include three stepsons, Wayne of Louisville, Michael of Palm Harbor, FL, and Douglas Fangman of Ocala; one stepdaughter, Mariann Sullivan of Englis, FL; one sister, Elizabeth "Betty" Fleck of Louisville; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He came to Dunedin in 1968 from his native Louisville, and moved in 2002 to Ocala. He retired as a pipe fitter for Steamfitters Local Union #522 in Louisville, and was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Dunedin, a life member of the Disabled American Veterans and a member of the Oak Run Veterans Association in Ocala.
