Anna Mae Griffin passed from this life into glory on December 23, 2004 at the age of 90. She was born July 4, 1914 in Piedmont, Oklahoma to parents G.O. and Cora Bell Palmer. She married Melvin Griffin on December 23, 1933. Anna Mae was a faithful Christian mother who was wonderful to her family and friends. She loved life and embraced everyone in it. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her sisters Lillie Floyd and Wanda Shaw, her brother Chester Palmer, her daughter Melva Ann Brown and granddaughter Mary Robinson. She is survived by son Larry and wife Sharla, daughter Janie Cutter and husband Gary, and Melva's husband Richard Brown. Grandsons Scott Griffin, Greg Dixon and his wife Virginia, Cody Cutter, and Aaron Price. Granddaughters Christy Dixon, Meredith Gall and husband Randall, Sandi Lenhart and husband Mark, Lynn Copeland and husband Scott, and Mary's husband Rusty Robinson. Great-grandchildren Shaun and Caleb Dixon, Shelby Lenhart, Amy and Marissa Copeland, Lindsey Sutherland, Brandi and Kelly Robinson and numerous nieces and nephews. Anna and her husband were members of the First Christian Church of Edmond for many years, they then joined and helped build Edmond Trinity Christian Church west of Edmond near their home.
