MRS. HENRY CARSTENSEN - WYOMING

Funeral services for Mrs. Henry Carstensen were held Friday, Mar. 31 from the Wallace Funeral home, Wyoming. Rev. F.E. Somerville officiated with interment in Mayflower cemetery at Oxford Junction.

Anna Catherine, daughter of Martin and Elizabeth Bendixen Petersen, was born June 22, 1876 in Germany. When she was four years old, she cme with her parents to the United States. They made their home on farms in the Wyoming and Oxford Junction communities.

On Feb 24, 1898, she was united in marrige with Henry Carstensen at the family home near Oxford Junction. Three daughters and two sons were born to the Carstensens.

Mr. and Mrs. Carstensen established their home on a fam near Oxford Junction, later moving to the Clarence community where they spent most of their married
life.

In 1928 Mr. Carstensen passed away. Three years later, Mrs. Carstensen and her two daughters, Elsie and Hilda, moved to Wyoming, Where she passed away in her home Tuesday, Mar. 28, following years of illness.

She is survived by three daughters, Elsie and Hilda at home, and Matilda, Mrs. Arthur Ahrendsen of Wyoming; a son, John of Clarence; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Louie and Martin Petersen, both of Oxford Junction.
