Leah Anne Reger was the dau of Abram Reger & Leah Anne Brake. She was named for her mother who died days after her birth.

A bit of history: Leah Brake's father (Jacob Brake) was a captive of the Indians for 10 yrs & 10 months and then released/rescued and later served in the Revolutionary War.

Leah Post was one of 10 children. After her mother's death, her father remarried. She was born in Lewis Co, WVA. She married Stephen Post on August 5,1851 at Marietta, OH.
