Margaret M. Steele, 84, died Sunday at Hillcreek Manor Nursing Home. She was the former Margaret M. Mackin, a native of Lebanon, a retired secretary, having worked for Stratton-Terstegge Co. and Smith Transfer Corp., and a member of St. Columba Altar Society. Survivors: two brothers, John J. and W. Archie Mackin; and four sisters, Elizabeth Belser of Las Vegas, Sarah Bradford of St. Paul, Minn., Mary Ellen Warken and Lula Steele. Funeral: 10: 30 a.m. Wednesday, St. Barnabas Catholic Church, 3042 Hikes Lane. Burial: Calvary Cemetery. Visitation: Ratterman's Bardstown Road, 3800 Bardstown Road, 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Memorial gifts: St. Vincent de Paul Society.
