COURIER JOURNAL OBITUARY – 05/28/1997
Lula Mackin Steele, 84, died Monday at Baptist Hospital East. She was a native of Lebanon and a retired cafeteria worker in the Jefferson County Public Schools. Survivors: a daughter, Barbara Dreisbach: sisters Mary Ellen Warken and Sarah Bradford; and brothers John and Archie Mackin. Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday, St. Raphael Catholic Church, Bardstown Road and Lancaster Avenue. Burial: Calvary. Visitation at Ratterman's, 3800 Bardstown Road, 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. Memorial gifts: Mass of the Air.
