Mary Catherine Schnell, 74, died Monday [October 14, 1996] at her home. She was the former Mary Catherine Archdeacon; a native of Elizaville, KY; a member of Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians, Sons & Daughters of Erin and Knights of Columbus St. Louis Bertrand Council Auxiliary. Survivors: her husband, Charles T. Schnell; a daughter, Kathy Briner; a son, Charles T. Schnell Jr.; a brother Eugene Archdeacon; and four grandchildren. Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday, St. Louis Bertrand Catholic Church, 1104 S. Sixth St. Burial: Calvary. Visitation: Highlands, 3331 Taylorsville, 2-9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday. Memorial gifts: Mass of the Air or Kentucky Right to Life Association.
