Edward Scheeler
Dunlap—Edward Scheeler, 58, died Wednesday morning at Methodist hospital.
Mr. Scheeler was born July 11, 1898 in Peoria, a son of Mathias and Mary Becker Scheeler. A retired farmer, Mr. Scheeler lived in Peoria County al his life, residing last on his farm at Dunlap. He was a member of the Prospect Presbyterian Church in Dunlap.
Surviving are his wife, Mildred, two daughters, Mrs. Helen Griffin of Edelstein and Barbara, at home; one son Russell G., at Dunlap; four grandsons and two granddaughters; two brothers, William of Dunlap and John of Peoria, and one sister, Mrs. Emma McDaniel of Peoria.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p. m. DST at Prospect Presbyterian Church, Dunlap, with Rev. Paul Jassimides officiating. Burial will be at Prospect Cemetery, Dunlap.
Visitation will be today from 3-5 and 7-9 p. m. DST at Schreiner Mortuary.
