Thomas Elmore, Who Lived Here 30 Years, Expired in St. Louis
Thomas Elmore, 76, former resident of this city for more than thirty years until he moved to St. Louis some six years ago, died at his home in that city last night following an extended illness. Death was caused by complications.
Surviving him are his widow, Mrs. Nancy Elmore, a daughter, Mrs. Gladys Dickey, a son, Charles Elmore, all of St. Louis; another son, John Elmore of this city; three brothers and one sister.
The remains have been brought to this city for burial and will lie in state at the Mercer Funeral Parlors until 2 p.m. Saturday when last rites will be conducted in the chapel of that mortuary. Interment will be made in St. John's Cemetery.
