Son of Charlie Terry and Ida Florence (Smith) Terry. Father of Virginia Faye (Terry) Wallace, Norvall Eugene Terry and Waymon L Terry. Grandfather of Bettye Dale (Wallace) McCauley, Mary Kaye (Wallace) Vernon, Pamela Jean (Terry) Turpen, Sharon Sue (Terry) Kimsey, Melissa Waynette (Terry) McKeown, and Michelle Dawnette (Terry). He was a deputy under Sheriff John Young, a Weatherford Policeman and Weatherford fireman. Had been Lake Patrolman at Weatherford Lake from January 1957 until he retired in 1970. Obituary:

funeral Services for Lev R. Terry will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in Cotten-Bratton Funearl Chapel with burial in East Greenwood Cemetery.
Terry, a resident of Weatherford, died Wednesday morning in a local hospital. He was a retired city employe.
He retired two years ago after 50 years service in the police, fire and water departments of the city. He was a member of the North Side Baptist Church.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs Mamie Terry, three children Mrs Dale Wallace, Ranger Highway, Weatherford, Norvall T Terry, Austin and Waymon, 118 Eureka. SSeven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive.
Other survivors include the following brothers and sisters: Mrs A. A. Leaverton and Mrs Virginia Coleman, both of Seaside, Wash, and Kell Terry, Weatherford.
