William Berthal Terry was born June 24, 1889 at Weatherford, Parker county, Texas. He was the oldest of the seven children born to his parents, Charlie and Ida (Smith) Terry, who still reside at Weatherford, Texas.
At his death, February 27, 1936, he was 46 years, 8 months and 2 days old.
He was twice married. In 1912 he married Miss Johnnie Blakeney, to whom three children were born. One, a daughter, died in infancy. His two sons, Charlie and Virgil survive him. Their mother died in 1928.
In October of 1930, he was married to Miss Nora Miller, who survives him. They lived on their farm near Malakoff until his death.
He united with the Methodist Church when a young man.
