The Rev. Paul Lite officiated with burial at the Rayville Masonic Cemetery.
Mr. Jones died Thursday in the Richland Parish Hospital in Rayville after a long illness.
He was a native of Minden but had lived in Rayville most of his life. He was a retired merchant and a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Robert W. Anderson of Delhi, Mrs. Tommy Guynes of Girard, Mrs. Fredrich P. Mulhern Jr. of Rayville; two brothers, E. L. Jones and R. V. Jones both of Rayville; one sister, Mrs. Roy L. Binion of Rayville; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jame C. Dick Brown, Bob Anderson Jr., John Collins, Rickey Mulhern, and Dick Mulhearn.
