Interment followed in Delhi Masonic Cemetery in Delhi. Services were under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Delhi.
Frances Barron Jones Anderson died Sunday, December 10, 2000 at Richland Parish Hospital in Delhi.
Mrs. Anderson was a member of the St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Delhi. She was a former member of the Delhi Garden Club and was a former member of the St. Theresa's Altar Society. Mrs. Frances was a loving and blessed wife, mother and grandmother and the family looks upon it as a tribute to their father that she passed away on the same day as her husband of 66 years, Robert W. "Bob" Anderson, whose funeral was Monday.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Gretta Condren and Regina Mulhern.
Survivors include a son, Robert W. Anderson, Jr. of Delhi; four daughters, Mary Cornelius, of Shreveport, Shirley Ann Brown, of Tallulah, Margaret Carolyn Collins, of Minden, and Emily Louise Ford, of Delhi; great-grandchildren, Mary Heather Garner, Frances Garner and Sarah Garner; brother, Eugene Hayward, of Tallulah; and seven grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Robert Charles Brown, Anderson Collins, Alexander Collins, James Pearson Parker, Wyatt Ford, Brandon Harris, and Leslie Anne Cornelius.
Honorary pallbearers were James Cornelius, John Collins, Dick Brown and Allen Ford.
