Russell Dowe Cash, age 77, of Crossett, a former resident of the County, died Friday at his home in Crossett where he had resided the past five years after removing from Rison.
Mr. Cash retired farmer, was born near Toledo, a son of the late Rev. W. H. Cash and Mrs. Rebecca Overton Cash.
He later resided at Rison and near Kingsland.
He was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church near Crossett.
Survivors includes his wife, Mrs. Cordia Hare Cash, a son, David Cash of Crossett; three daughters, Mrs. Fred West and Mrs. Travis Roberts both of Crossett, and Mrs. L. H. LaFontaine of Oklahoma, a brother: Ray Cash of Ojal, Calif., two sisters, Mrs. Tom Fore of Sparkman and Mrs. Edgar McKinney of Rison, 11 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Rison Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Phil Beach, the pastor and the Rev. Everett of Crossett.
Burial was in Rison's Greenwood Cemetery with arrangement by Buie Funeral Home.
