died April 28, 1994, at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital after a long illness.
She was a member of Arnett Chapel.
Surviving: daughters, Clarice Cook and Betty Miller, both of
Beckley; son, Gerald of Arnett; sisters, Lettie Dickens and Nancy Milam, both of Arnett, Fern Cournoyer of Northridge, Calif., Lettie Watson and Judy Gunnoe, both of Rock Creek; brothers, Ivan and Jack Acord, both of Rock Creek; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Arnett Chapel, with the Rev. Rodney Skeens and the Rev. Timmy Brewster officiating. Burial will be in Miller Cemetery, Rock Creek. Friends may call from 6 to 10 p.m. today at the church. Armstrong Funeral Home, Whitesville, is in charge of arrangements.
