Barbara Frances Wood, 73, died in Klamath Falls, Ore., on Aug. 3, 2009.
A graveside service of tribute and love will be held at Eternal Hills Memorial Gardens on Friday, Aug. 7, 2009, at 10 a.m. with Pastor Pat Winningham officiating. Friends may call at Eternal Hills for visitation on Thursday, Aug. 6, 2009, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Barbara was born on Oct. 9, 1935, in Springfield, Mo., to Elijah and Mary Parmalle Harrell.
She grew up in Missouri and, as a teenager, moved to California.
She married Albert Wood in Reno, Nev., in 1991 and they moved back to Missouri. In May of 2008, they came to Klamath Falls due to a health reason and to be near their daughters.
She attended Faith Tabernacle Assembly of God and, while in Greenfield, Mo., Assembly of God.
She enjoyed holiday dinners with the family, crocheting and collecting dolls.
She is survived by her husband Albert; daughters Marsha Hood and Elaine Nunn of Klamath Falls; Missie Trezza of Branson, Mo.; sisters Bessie Shepherd of Greenfield; Sioux Medders of Rio Vista, Calif.; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, two sisters and a daughter.
