OBITUARY
CENTRAL SQUARE
Lorenzo C. Eckler, 71, of 145 East Ave. died Wednesday at St Joseph's Hospital,
Syracuse, after a short illness.
He was native of Cooperstown and lived in Cooperstown and Binghamton before moving to Central Square about three months ago. He was a retired as a self-employed machinist.
Surviving are his wife, Mildred; two sons, Donald of Newark Valley and Robert of
Liverpool, two daughters, Mrs. Russell Irons of Binghamton and Mrs. Doris of Ithaca; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Floyd of Cooperstown and Earl of Seward; and a sister, Mrs. Laura Kelley of Schuyler Lake.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Lion Lutheran Church Seward. Burial will
be in Westville Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. tonight at the Watson Funeral Home and noon to 2
p.m. Friday in the Zion Lutheran Church.
