FRANK ECKLER
Frank Eckter, 90, Westville, died Thursday morning of last week at the Otsego County Hospital, Phoenix Mills, where he had been a patient for over a year.
Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. Saturday at the Tillapugh Funeral Home in Milford, vrith the Rev. Wilbur C. Dodge retired Methodist minister, officiating. Burial will be later in Westville.
Mr. Eckler was born Oct. 17, 1861 at Westville, son of Lorenzo and Phoebe (Pay) Eckler.
Sixty-two years ago he married the former Georganna Quick, who survives. He had been a farmer in this village all his life and was a member of the Grange for 70 years.
Surviving are five sons; Charles at home, Floyd of Middlefield Center, Henry of Westville, Lorenzo of Binghamton and Earl of Cobleskill; one daughter, Mrs. J. W. Kelly of Schuyler Lake, three sisters, Mrs Nellie Garlock, Mrs. Fred Benton of Westville, and Mrs. Effie Ferris and a brother, Will of Milford.
