McCOMB - Lois M. Hermon, 81, of McComb, died at 3:45 p.m. Thursday at Blanchard Valley Hospital.
She was born June 4, 1912, in McComb to Albert Ray and Lettie May (Wells) Rader. She married Lester L. Hermon on May 14, 1938, and he died July 10, 1987.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. David (Jeanette) Barrett, McComb; two grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two brothers, Carl Rader, Findlay; Ray Rader Jr., Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and five sisters, Lucille Mason, Olive Rosenberger, both of Findlay; Mrs. Harrold (Ellen) Bishop. Mrs. Jack (Pat) Sidenstricker, both of Leipsic; Mrs. Richard (Ruth Alice) Groh, Defiance.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Keith Rader; two sisters, Mary and Catherine; and three infant siblings.
Mrs. Hermon had worked for the McComb Post Office and retired from the People's Banking Company, McComb. She was a 1930 graduate of McComb High School.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hartley Funeral Home, McComb, the Rev. Kempton Oakes officiating. Burial will be in McComb Union Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the McComb Rescue Squad Auxiliary.
