He is not related to the Dr. George W Barr of Titusville, PA nor to Dr. Barr's parents, Charles Barr and Almira Blindberry. Any attachment of any member of this family to Dr. George W Barr of NY/PA is erroneous!

This George Washington Barr was a moulder by trade, not a doctor in Titusville, PA. He was born in Youngstown, OH and moved to Cincinnati, OH in the 1850s. He appears in the 1860-1880 censuses of Cincinnati and died there in 1893. He married Eliza Gaines in 1860 in Cincinnati, OH and that was his only wife. The marriage record was destroyed in a fire and they may have submitted their marriage for the restored marriage book, however, George's last name is spell incorrectly. The children listed below are his only children.
