"Peter Strange Dies From Injuries Received at Rock Quarry
Peter Strange, 76 years old, died Wednesday from injuries he received at the rock quarry near Livonia that day. Mr. Strange was employed at the quarry and some dirt fell from the ledge above and struck him on the feet, throwing him against the ledge of stone. He was removed too his home at Livonia and physcians examined him but found no serious injuries. He seemed alright and told his son he need not remain with him, that he was alright.
However he must have been hurt internally, for he died about three o'clock that afternoon. He lived alone.
Funeral and burial was at Livonia Thursday."
