Freddie Maud Morris, 66, of Danville, passed this life at 4:31 a.m. Sunday, July 26, 2009, at Provena USMC.

Freddie was born July 16, 1943, to James and Bessie Hall Coe in Covington, Tennessee. Freddie was united in Holy Matrimony to LeRoy Morris on Nov. 14, 1961, in Danville; he preceded her in death.

Freddie retired from Vermilion Manor Nursing Home, where she took pride in the care of her patients. Freddie was a faithful member of the Word of Life Mt. Zion Church, where she was apart of the Nurses Guild and Ruth Missionary Circle. Her hobbies included: sewing, watching cooking shows, WWF wrestling, reading her Bible and sports. Her favorite team was the Cubs.

Freddie leaves to cherish her memory, two sons, James "Winky" Morris and Kenneth Morris; three daughters, Lisa Morris (Bryon), Trojannette Anglin (Robert) and Tanisha Morris (Lacey), all of Danville; a very special and supporting friend, Richard Abner; two brothers: John (Sandra) Coe of Danville and George Coe of Covington, Tennessee; three sisters, Marie Smith, Jean Coe and Beatrice (James) Cunningham, all of Danville; a special sister-n-law, Anna Morris; 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends. Three grandchildren were loved and nurtured in her home, Lafayette Harper, Eric Christman and Brittany Morris.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and four brothers.

Interment: Spring Hill Cemetery.
