Virgil E. Arrington, 75, of Vidor died Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, TX. A native of Orange, TX., he has lived in Vidor since 1939, and was a self-employed ranchhand.

He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.

Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 2, 2007 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 1, 2007 at Memorial Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by his parents Aude and Lettie Arrington, brothers Ora Arrington, and Wilber Arrington, sisters Agnes McCabe, and Opal Kibodeaux, and his best friend Gary McCabe.

He is survived by his sister Wanda Godeaux of Vidor, and his second mom Edna Houseman. The family would like to say a special thank you to his caregiver and friend Linda Fontenot.
