Wanda Arrington Godeaux, 100, of Vidor, died Sunday, January 22, 2023 at her home. She is a lifelong resident of Vidor.

She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor. In World War II, she was a real life "Rosie the Riveter" and helped build bomber planes. She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She loved her family deeply and has a star named after her in the heavens.

Wanda's visitation will be Thursday, January 26, 2023 from 6~8pm at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Her funeral service will be Friday, January 27, 2023 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidor at 10am.

Burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor, Texas.

She is survived by her children: Arleen Dancer of Chireno, Texas, Gary Reynolds of Vidor, Randy and wife D. Reynolds of Vidor and Robby and wife Eileen Godeaux of Round Rock, Texas. She raised her niece Mary Gill and nephew Marvin Kibedeaux. Also survived by grandchildren: Tom McGuire, Brian McGuire, Tammy Glaze, Donald Dancer, Paul Dancer, Andrew Dancer, Quinten Reynolds, Cary D. Willey, Kristyn Davis, Shanna Jagerson, Kathryn Godeaux, Cara Crawford, Reagan Crawford, Cody Crawford, also survived by great grandchildren: Mason McGuire, Madelyn Glaze, Gray Dancer, Brent Dancer, Alex Dancer, Casey Dancer, Dylan Dancer, Ian Pope, Steffany Petty, Robert Petty, Gabriel Davis, Lincoln Jagerson, Iris Jagerson, Seryn Crawford, Caspia Crawford, 3 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Godeaux, her daughters Carolyn McGuire and Terri Crawford and son-in-laws Donald Dancer, Tom McGuire, Reagan Crawford and 8 siblings.
