After the Revolutionary War was over, Benjamin married Celia Martin, daughter of Highty Martin. They were married in Lenoir County, her home county. Celia was born in 1762; she died in 1822 in Robeson County, North Carolina. Benjamin was a weaver by trade. He died in 1821 in Robeson County, North Carolina.
