1984, at his home following a lingering illness. Mr. Hutson was the son of the
late Joseph Hutson and the late Elizabeth Lawson Hutson and was also preceded in
death by one daughter, Inalene Hutson; two sisters; and seven brothers. Mr.
Hutson was a disabled coal miner and a member of the Morning Star United Baptist
Church. He is survived by his wife, Elva Duncan Hutson of Rt. 1, Pioneer; one
daughter, Mrs. Harold (Deborah Ann) West of Robbins; one son, Donald H. Hutson
and daughter-in-law, Velma Wright Hutson, both of the High Point community; one
sister, Delphia Williams of Huntsville; one brother, Johnny Hutson of Norma; one
granddaughter, Rosanna Denise Hutson of the High Point community; several nieces
and nephews; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were
conducted from the Morning Star United Baptist Church at 1 p.m. Sunday, October
14, with Rev. Odus Lay and Rev. Larry Sexton officiating. The Lloyd Family sang.
Burial followed in the Adkins Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Gary R. Byrd, Bobby S.
Byrd, Jackie Duncan, Homer R. Hutson, Laynel Hutson, Edward L. Hutson, and David
Hutson. West-Murley Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. (Source: The
