They left in the late 1800's along with Robert's parents (my great, great grandparents) and his brother to homestead in Nebraska, and remained there the rest of their lives. They made trips back to Illinois to visit the family they left behind--my great grandmother (and her family) who never left Illinois.
I am still researching this branch of the family.
