Sarah Rose (called Rose) was the daughter of Charles and Charlotte Chambers Baker. Her parents were married 25 December 1890 at Chadwell St. Mary, Essex, England (now called Tilbury). Charlotte Chambers was born 3 Lofthouse Street, Bradford, Yorkshire 29 July 1872, daughter of Charles and Sophia Bottle Chambers.

Rose's siblings were
Percy Edward who was born 27th March 1891. He was killed in Action in France in the Great War.

Walter was born 5th March 1899 at 24 Quebec Road in what was then in Chadwell St. Mary, but is now Tilbury. When Walter was orphaned in 1908, he and his brothers Charles and John Henry were was shipped off to Canada to start a new life as one of the Dr. Barnardo's Home Children. He and Charles would be sent to France with the Canadian Forces. They survived the Great War.
Charlotte born 9th September 1901. Charlotte married Francis Amott and was the only child to remain in England.
John Henry born 15th August 1903
Sarah Rose born 14th November 1905. "Rose" was cared for by family members in England, but emigrated to Canada when her brother Charles was married in 1919. She lived with them for awhile but then moved to Windsor, where and and Dulcie Jay roomed together. Rose worked as a hair dresser. Her roommate, Dulcie, later married Rose's brother, Walter.

Rose married Lorne Clifford Fields 19 Sep 1925 in Highland Park, Michigan, and lived in Hespeler, Ontario.
Lorne, known as Clifford, was the son of Wilson and Hannah Askins Fields. He married first Mabel Countryman 7 Aug 1915. She died.

Clifford and Rose had four sons and three daughters:

Dorothy, born 13 April 1926 in Unadilla, Michigan; Dorothy married Donald Paddock in 1970. She died 9 May 1906.
Robert, born 19 April 1927 in Unadilla, Michigan; died 1 August 1945
(Audrey) Maxine, born 6 Feb 1929 at Unadilla, Michigan;
Maxine married Lloyd Frederick Munch in Hespeler, Ontario 21 June 1947
Charles Glen, born 15 March 1934 at Monetville, Ontario, married Carol Ernst in 1959; married second Dorothy McKittrick in 1966. Divorced.
James Carl, born 1 March 1936 at Monetville, Ontario, married first Bonnie Jane Barron in 1959 at Saskatchewan. He married second Laura Aubichon 14 August 1983 at Cambridge, Ontario.
Ernest Raymond, born Monteville, Ontario 13 Feb 1941
Gail Patricai, born 11 September 1946 in Galt, Ontario married Ken Herrriot 29 October 1966 at Cambridge, Ontario.
