Mrs. Hester was a homemaker and attended Outreach for Christ Church in Benton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Lucretia Cox; husband, Cranford Hester; three brothers, Jeff, Ben and Henry Cox; and four sisters, Nancy Hendrix, Rosa Louallen, Ollie Hester and Susie Hunsaker.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. today at Ashby Funeral Home. Burial will be in Walnut Bottoms Cemetery.
