Sarah Elizabeth Hickman married John Wesley Mounce August 4, 1847 in Hocking, OH. They had 10 children:
Mary Jane, William Wesley, Thomas Drake, James Harvey, Louisa Jane, Susan Harriet, Martha Ellen, Emma Franklin, John Wesley and Anna Bell.

DEATH OF CENTERVILLE
Mrs. Elizabeth Mounce of Centerville died Thursday morning about 5 o'clock. She had been confined to her bed for the past three months with dropsy and infirmities of old age. She was 77years of age and has been a resident of this county and the vicinity of Centerville most of her life. The funeral services will be held at White Heath Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the United Brethren church. Internment at Camp Creek cemetery.
