Sarah M. Martin, of Fayetteville and formerly of Littlestown and Hanover, departed this life July 28, 2009.

Born April 7, 1915, in White Hall, near Littlestown, she was the daughter of the late Pious E. and Mary (Collins) Breighner.

Mrs. Martin worked as a seamstress for local shoe factories in the area. Sarah was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church and Senior Citizens, both of Littlestown.

She was the widow of David Martin, who died in 1974, and is survived by a sister, Erma Sentz of Gettysburg; a brother, Elwood Breighner of Littlestown; and nieces and nephews.

Sarah was predeceased by two sisters, Evelyn Frock and Betty Bowers; and five brothers, Herman, Stanley, Glenn, Melvin and Fred Breighner.
