Services for Russell I. Merrick, 74, retired blacksmith, will at at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Meeker Christian Church. Burial will be at Rossville Cemetery, north of Jacktown.
Mr. Merrick came to Oklahoma in 1904 from Nebraska.
Survivors are his wife, Rebecca, three sons, Cecil of Oklahoma City, Otha of Tecumseh and Melvin of Nampa, Idaho, two daughters, Mrs. Ted Rackley of Meeker and Mrs. George A. Washington of Oklahoma City, a brother, Bert of Shawnee, a sister, Mrs. Kelly Clark of Oklahoma City, also seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
