We didn't see Grandpa much as children; he lived in Arizona, then Hawaii, but I do remember one or two visits to our home when we were very young. My only memory of Grandpa was him sitting out in the back yard of our home in a dark green Adirondack chair. He remarried in Arizona (though we never met his 2nd wife Irene) and they moved to Hawaii for some years. When he became ill, they moved back to Arizona and he died of emphysema at the VA Hospital there.
