Mrs. Ann E. Murphy, aged 77, widow of William J. Murphy, died yesterday morning at 6:10 o'clock at her residence, 1216 Hampton boulevard. She was a native of Princess Anne County and had been a resident of Norfolk for the past 21 years.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. W.O. Williamson, Mrs. W.C. Bonney and Mrs. Lillian H Nunn; three sons, the Rev. W.L. Murphy and J.W. Murphy, of Norfolk, and J.R. Murphy, of Baltimore; 16 grandchildren and nine great-
grandchildren. Mrs. Murphy was a member of McKendree Methodist Church. Funeral services will be conducted at the residence tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be private in Cedar Grove Cemetery
