Kit Alvey, aged 58 years, died at his home near Holy Cross Friday afternoon at 4 o'clock, of tuberculosis. The funeral services were held Sunday morning at Holy Cross Church, conducted by Rev. A. M. Zoeller, and the interment was in the church cemetery adjoining the church. He is survived by his wife, and 1 son; also by 3 brothers, Ed, Tom and George, all of Louisville. He was popular in the community in which he lived and his many friends unite in expressing sorrow at his death. Buried in Holy Cross Cemetery, Holy Cross, Marion Co., Ky.
