MRS. GRACIE ELKINS ACORD SLAB FORK _ MRS. GRACIE ELKINS ACORD, 64, of Slab Fork, Raleigh County, died Aug. 27, 1988, in a Roanoke, Va., hospital after a short illness.
She was born at Lorado and was a 50-year resident of Slab Fork .
Surviving: husband, Henry Burl Acord; daughters, Patsy Honsinger of Hickory, Ky., Karen Elaine Acord of Beckley and Lucy Violet Acord of Japan; sons, Kenneth Roger of Amherst, Va., Lonnie Elvin of Christiansburg, Va., Gary Ervin of Piney View, Stephen Burl of Beckley, Jonathan Grant of Baltimore; mother, Cora McCoy Elkins of Hewett;
sisters, Theresa Tackett of Lake, Greta Watts of Bedford Heights, Ohio, Lois Baker of Fayetteville, Ga., Willa Nicely of Chesapeake, Ohio, Betty Adkins of Branchland, Audrey Stephenson of Georgetown, Ohio, Bonnie Jeffery of Drayton Plains, Mich., Kay Cook of Olmsted Falls, Ohio;

Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Calfee Funeral Home, Beckley, with the Rev. Cecil Smith officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Beckley. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
