ANDERSON — Althea Fay Gordon-Reeves, 43, of Anderson, went to be with the Lord unexpectedly on July 8, 2009, while vacationing in Florida.

She was born June 10, 1966, in Anderson and was a lifelong resident. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband, Danny Reeves, whom she married Oct. 8, 1988; son, Justin Fort (Teresa); daughters, Jennifer Fort, Crystal Reeves; and stepson, Brandon Reeves (Marissa); four grandchildren, Gracelyn, Maddix, Chase, Chloe; five step-grandsons, all of Anderson; siblings, Danny Boyer (Mary) of Tennessee, Billy Gordon (Tammy), Dollie Merritt (Fred), Jane Gordon and Brian Gordon, all of Anderson; and 40 nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Merril "Bill" Gordon and Clima Carr; two brothers and sister-in-law, Steve and Teresa Boyer and David Gordon.
