A native of Kings Creek, she was the wife of James Pennington and daughter of the late Thomas Henry Falls and the late Susan Ann Carroll Falls. She was a homemaker and member of White Plains Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband are three sons, Joe Henry Pennington of Gaffney, Michael Frank and Randy Ray Pennington of the home; a daughter, Sandra Kay Pennington of the home; two grandchildren; two brothers, John Falls of Columbia ad George Falls of Kings Creek; five sisters, Ava Ware Hembee, Veda Harrison, Dorothy Martin, all of Greenville, Pansy Julian of Anderson and Ester Holiday of Six Mile. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Pennington was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters.
Graveside services will be held at White Plains Baptist Church Cemetery.
