Wanda E. Burrows, 94, of La Porte City, died Friday, October 6, 2017 at La Porte City Specialty Care.
She was born September 10, 1923 in Kettle Falls, Washington, the daughter of Thomas and Rosa Ellen (Meadows) Hammond.
She married Evert Cruse in 1941 in Colville, Washington, they were later divorced. She married Cecil Burrows on September 8, 1947 in Coeur D'Alene, Idaho; he preceded her in death on October 25, 2002.
Survived by one son, Richard (Sharon) Cruse of Dubuque; two daughters, Linda (Gary) Kaufman of Toddville, Betty (Bob) Hunt of Perry; eighteen grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sons, James and John Cruse; five brothers and five sisters.
