Pearl was the sister of Richard Jesse Burroughs, William Henry Burroughs, John Lockhart Burroughs, Melinda (Linnie) Mae Burroughs Rose, Alfred Burroughs, Susan (Susie) Burroughs Child, Sarah (Sadie) Priscilla Burroughs Adams, Catherine (Cassie) Victoria Burroughs Bartlett, and William Arthur Burroughs.
Around 1881, Pearl married Joseph Marvin Dunn, and from this marriage, two children were born: Arthur Vincent Dunn and Ernest Lucien "Louie" Dunn. The marriage ended in divorce.
In 1898, Pearl married Arthur Willard Bartlett, and they had one son together named Willard Stephen Bartlett.
Pearl and Arthur had a happy marriage and they raised Willard along with the children from their previous marriages. Arthur Bartlett had previously been married to Pearl's sister, Cassie Burroughs Bartlett. Cassie died as a result of childbirth, and one of Arthur's children which he raised with Pearl was Pearl's nephew, Paul Burroughs Bartlett. Another child they raised was Emery Augustin Bartlett, the son of Arthur and his second wife, Marietta Towle Bartlett.
