Lillian Mae Willard Ackerman Rowell, 95, of North Charleston, wife of Jacob Rowell, died Thursday, July 23, 2009 at Life Care Center of Charleston. Burial will be held at Riverview Memorial Park, Charleston.
Mrs. Rowell was born February 15, 1914 in Bishopville, SC, daughter of the late Fleming David Ackerman and Lulu Christine Miller Ackerman.
Surviving in addition to her husband are daughter, Gail R. Davis of Stephens, GA; son, Jake Rowell, Jr. (Mary) of Anderson, SC; daughter, Joyce Hall (Clyde) of Summerville, SC; son, Willard A. Rowell (Lynne) of York, SC; ten grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; two sisters, Christine Fersner of Orangeburg, SC and Joyce Elizabeth Stelling of Summerville, SC.
She was predeceased by her parents and one brother, F.D. Ackerman and one sister, Vivian Elaine Moore.
