Charley L. Rush, 79, died Wednesday morning at Grace Hospital after an illness of four weeks.

He was born July 25, 1887, at Cherryvale, Kansas and had lived here since 1937. He was a retired night watchman for Davis Childs Motor Co., and was a member of the Lutheran Church.

Survivors include a son, Oscar Rush of Natoma; three daughters, Mrs. (Florence) W.L. Clark and Mrs. (Dora)Joe Glenn, both of Ottawa; Margie Rush 1639 East 4th Hutchinson, 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Elliot and Gard Chapel. Rev. Clarence Borger officiating with graveside services at 2 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery Eureka.

Married Mabel Sadie Long 29 September 1907 Eureka, Greenwood Kansas. They would later divorce.

1. Florence Alberta Rush 20 December 1908-15 December 1992,married 30 January 1906 William Lurasden Clark 7 December 1906-7 September 1984, both buried Union Cemetery Douglas County, Kansas.

2. Murrell Minnie Rush 10 August 1910-2 January 1916. buried Greenwood Cemetery, Eureka.

3. Dora Rush 15 July 1912, married 16 January 1929 Joe Glenn

4. Oscar William Rush 9 April 1918-27 January 1986 married Mary Alice, buried Natoma Cemetery, Osborne, Kansas,

5. Johnny Everett Rush 5 April 1916-11 October 1917, buried Greenwood Cemetery, Eureka.

6. Raymond Roscoe Rush 13 May 1919-17 April 1934, buried Union Cemetery, Douglas County, Kansas.

7. Wilma Rush 22 February 1921-21 November 1921, buried Greenwood Cemetery Eureka.
