Mrs. Brinnon had worked at the Woolworth Department store and for the Southwestern Bell Telephone Co., both in Topeka.
She was born March 15, 1903, the daughter of Frank Baldwin and Sarah Sorden Baldwin. She was raised in the Meriden and Grantville area and graduated from Grantville High School. She was a lifelong resident of the Topeka and Grantville area.
She married Charles C. "Jack" Brinnon on Jan. 19, 1920, in Grantville. He died Nov. 2, 1974. Mrs. Brinnon also was preceded in death by two sons, Charles C. "Jack" Brinnon, and Charles Brinnon Jr., who died in infancy.
Survivors include a son, George R. "Bob" Brinnon, Topeka; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great- grandchild.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Grantville Cemetery.
Mrs. Brinnon will lie in state from noon to 9 p.m. today at the Davidson Funeral Home where relatives and friends will meet from 7 to 8 p.m.
