Mrs. Montgomery's Funeral Wednesday

Funeral services for Margaret Ann Montgomery, 89, pioneer resident of the Wenatchee Valley, will be held from the Jones & Jones chapel Wednesday at 2:10 pm with Rev. F. E. Beatty officiating. Interment will be in the Wenatchee cemetery.

She died August 4 in a local rest home after a lingering illness. Born in Tennessee, she was married to Francis M. Montgomery in Nebraska and came to Wenatchee in 1902. Montgomery, a Civil war veteran, died in 1907. She ahs lived in Wenatchee almost continuously since.

She was a member of the Salvation Army.

She is survived by her sons, Lon of Wenatchee, Joe of East Wenatchee and Clarence of Moses Lake; daughters, Mrs. Jack Merrill of Seattle and Mrs. Viola Palmer of Marysville, California; one brother, Napoleon Carver of Nebraska and one sister, Mrs. Eliza Allen of Leavenworth; also by 27 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
